The first Band of Brothers event is now complete, and we would like to thank all the performers, volunteers and guests for their participation in support of Soldier On, to raise funds for the rehabilitation of injured Canadian soldiers and support for their families, Saturday August 8, 2009. Through everyone’s efforts and contributions we raised $ 1,500.00 to send on to Soldier On!!! Co-founder Sgt. Andrew McLean of the Soldier On program was on hand to receive our cheque at a press conference at our farm on October 16th, 2009. He spoke at length with reporters and our guests about the virtues of the Soldier On program, and the importance of support and sponsorship through community events like the Band of Brothers.
